Vocabulab Explanation
VOCABULAB is a vocabulary worksheet given in class. The following is an explanation for a student or parent who needs to make sense of the assignment: The student is to choose a word from this week's vocab list and plug it into the workshee t. 1. They need to fill in the preliminary info at the top (write out the definition of the word from the vocabulary list, record the part of speech, etc). 2. Ask Someone: Ask someone what they know about the word and record the information (1-2 sentences). This can be a parent, friend, teacher, sibling, etc. 3. Research: Look up the word for some extra information. Use a Bible and look up some verses that contain the word, do some online research, etc. Record a few thoughts. 4. Nyms: Now that you have a better understanding of your word, what are 4-5 synonyms or antonyms that are connected to your word? 5.
